15

Leading voices in the treatment of lower extremity vascular disease gather in the CX Studio to discuss the state of drug-coated technology use in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) following recent developments in the space, including the publication of SWEDEPAD 1 and 2 trial results. In this first installment of a two-part CX roundtable discussion, host Peter Schneider (University of California, San Francisco, USA) is joined by Tatsuya Nakama (Tokyo Bay Medical Center, Chiba, Japan), Yann Gouëffic (Hôpital Paris St Joseph, Paris, France) and Joakim Nordanstig (University of Gothenburg, Gothenburg, Sweden) to discuss paclitaxel-coated devices and their efficacy shortly after the quartet took part in a robust CX 2026 session on the topic.
