Barbara Rantner (Munich, Germany) talks about the “fantastic experience” of being back in person at CX 2022, where she notes that attendees were able to “meet experts from all over the world” and discuss relevant issues “not only from acute stroke, but other topics from vascular surgery”. Some of the most interesting discussions from CX 2022 revolved around transcarotid artery revascularisation (TCAR) and how it stacks up against carotid endarterectomy and stenting, as well as the treatment of asymptomatic patients which is “another issue that is not losing its interest”.
