Ross Milner (Chicago, USA) spoke to Vascular News at the VEITHsymposium about the importance of long-term data for aortic endografts and the GREAT (Global Registry for Endovascular Aortic Treatment) study—a 5,000 patient real-world dataset that will follow patients out to 10 years. GREAT is a truly global registry that includes the types of patients that physicians see “in everyday” practice, according to Milner, who also talks about the peer-reviewed publications that are emerging from this dataset. Milner is the co-national principal investigator for the GREAT study and is a consultant to Gore.
