Shockwave Medical has announced the appointment of Doug Godshall as president and chief executive officer.
Godshall was most recently the chief executive officer and a director of HeartWare International, where he served for 10 years until the company was acquired by Medtronic in August of 2016 for US$1.1 billion.
Prior to HeartWare, Godshall held various executive and leadership positions at Boston Scientific including president of the Vascular Surgery Division and a member of Boston Scientific’s Operating Committee. He also served as vice president, Business Development.
