Avinger announced that two live cases using the Ocelot guided chronic total occlusion crossing catheter will be transmitted by Giovanni Torsello and Arne Schwindt from St Franziskus Hospital, Münster, Germany, to an expert panel and live audience at the Leipzig Interventional Course (LINC) 2012 conference in Leipzig, Germany on Friday, 27 January.
Ocelot is the first real-time optical coherence guided crossing catheter for chronic total occlusions in the peripheral vascular system. Ocelot received CE mark in Europe in September 2011.
